How to Participate

Retainer-based care

Rather than spending a significant portion of her time dealing with the administrative burdens that accompany insurance claims, Dr. Cortland no longer contracts with insurance companies.

By having patients pay an upfront retainer fee for physician services, Dr. Cortland has the financial flexibility to see fewer patients.

In addition, time previously spent in practice management can now be spent on activities that enhance patient care.

For Dr. Cortland to effectively serve as your healthcare advisor and advocate, it's imperative that you are able to talk to her when you need to, without running into the barriers common in today's busy practices.

Reserve your place now

To reserve your place in Dr. Cortland's practice, you must complete a registration form and medical care contract.

Once this information is returned to us, along with your retainer fee, you will receive prompt acknowledgement of your place in the practice.

You'll receive general information and a direct access phone number to reach Dr. Cortland.

Membership Fees

Dr. Cortland offers a very affordable membership fee for her practice.

Members pay a flat membership fee equivalent to $129 per month, payable either annually ($1,525) or every six months ($775). Keep in mind, this fee is above and beyond what you pay under any of your health care coverage.

You are responsible for paying a $10 co-payment at the time of your office visit (except for your annual physical examination appointment), which is above and beyond any of your healthcare plan co-payments.
